In-person inmate visits are no longer available. All visitation will be via video visits through the Pay Tel website.

On-Site Video Kiosk
If you don’t have a computer or mobile device, you can use the video visitation kiosk in the jail’s visitation room.
Please note:
- Kiosk visits must be scheduled during lobby hours (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Visits must occur on the same day the inmate’s in-person visit was previously scheduled
- Call the jail if you’re unsure of the day
Video Visit Rates
Each inmate receives one free 15-minute video visit per week. Additional visits cost $0.30 per minute.

Staff are available to help with scheduling or technical issues.
Professional Visitors
Professional visitors may visit inmates Monday through Friday from 8:00am until 5:00pm. Professional visitors include law enforcement officials (detectives, probation officers, etc.), legal representatives (attorneys, paralegals, etc.) and certain medical service providers.
Clergy Visitors
Clergy Visits are permitted to visit inmates during special visiting hours. In order to be approved, you must present identification from the church you represent and a photo ID. You must call in advance of your visit and set up an appointment with a jail booking representative by calling (252) 504-4832.
Self-Reporting Inmates (Weekenders)
Self-reporting inmates (weekenders) on disciplinary restrictions and inmates who have not been classified are not eligible for social visitation.
