Carteret County, in partnership with Coastal Environmental Partnership, is hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Residents can bring items like paint, batteries, and automotive fluids to the Carteret County Health Department in Morehead City from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. For everyone’s convenience, this is a drive-thru event; please bring proof of county residency.
