The Carteret County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting on Monday, November 25, 2024 at 4:30 pm in the Commissioners Meeting Room located on the 2nd flood of the County Administrative Building, 302 Courthouse Square, Beaufort, NC. The purpose of the meeting is to hold a vote on the adoption of the proposed Schedules, Standards, and Rules to be used for the 2025 County Wide General Reappraisal (Revaluation).

Notice is hereby given that on October 21, 2024, the Interim Carteret County Tax Administrator submitted to the Carteret County Board of Commissioners the proposed true value and present-use value schedules, standards and rules to be used in the 2025 general reappraisal of real property in Carteret County.
Notice is further given that a copy of said proposed true value and present-use value schedules, standards and rules were filed in the office of the Carteret County Tax Administrator, 302 Courthouse Square, Beaufort, North Carolina, on October 21, 2024, where said proposed schedules, standards and rules are available for public inspection.
Notice is further given that on November 18, 2024, at 6PM, the Carteret County Board of Commissioners held a public hearing on said proposed schedules, standards and rules. All interested citizens were invited to be present and comment on said proposed schedules, standards and rules.
Notice is further given that there will be a Special Meeting of the Carteret County Board of Commissioners held on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 4:30PM to vote to adopt the proposed schedule of values. The meeting will be held in the Commissioners Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the Carteret County Administrative Building, 302 Courthouse Square, Beaufort, NC.
