Child Fatality Prevention Team
The Child Fatality Prevention Team reviews records of all fatalities in Carteret County involving children. The team meets on a case-by-case basis. All cases are reviewed to determine what, if any, improvements can be made within the community as a whole to provide services in Carteret County for the child population. A report is then submitted to the Board of Commissioners and to the State of North Carolina annually.

Term: 3 years

Meeting Date: Third Tuesday of the last month of each quarter
